•@Simpson didn't want to give any party a good name either. I always like to say you take the lesser of two evils. Despite this, the CDU is accompanied by countless such points and they simply don't talk about them. I find it very problematic when people in a democracy no longer talk about political missteps. That doesn't mean you should lock them up, but perhaps it would be appropriate to remove them from the party. Of course, this also applies to the other parties, but the CDU has often been involved in such things due to its many terms in office.
