With a number of 30 and more ETFs there are probably only very few members who do not claim that there are too many... You realize that from a number of 2, at the latest 4, the opinions already strongly go in the direction of "too much"... often justified with the fact that there are ETFs that would contain "all" listed companies - well...

@Stullen-Portfolio my thought was just that I buy a few good ETFs with different Top10 weighting, in addition also once emerging markets and a Europe ETF to balance the US load... "maximum diversification" I would call that compared to what is recommended (max. 2 pieces). Sure the companies are certainly in the FTSE World with inside but so low weighted... what is your personal opinion?

I see it pretty similar to you, I think. My target portfolio will contain 13 ETFs (so there are still a few adjustments to be made to the current portfolio)...I once labeled it the Butterbrot strategy for me...or named it the Stullen portfolio 🤷‍♂️😎✌️

I had already described it in more detail elsewhere during the week: The Butterbrot strategy aka Stullen portfolio 😎✌️🍀 Bread: one or more developed or world ETF Butter: one or more dividend ETF Depending on taste and preference, bread & butter can then still be supplemented.... Topping: several special ETF (theme, sector, factor ETF, possibly also active). Garnish: one or more smallcap ETF From the investment assets I aim at this order of magnitude: Bread 55-60% - 3 ETF Butter 20% - 2 ETF Topping 15% - 5 ETF Garnish 5-10% 3 ETF
