$KTN (+0.28%) Kontron expects further growth.

Preliminary figures for the past year indicate a strong fourth quarter, announced the SDax listed company from Linz. Kontron expects to have exceeded its targets for 2023 as a whole.

Kontron is forecasting an increase in net profit to over EUR 87 million for 2024. Compared to the EUR 72 million that the company has forecast for 2023, this would be an increase of around one fifth. Turnover is expected to increase to over EUR 1.4 billion.

Group CEO Hannes Niederhauser is convinced that "the 2024 financial year will be another very good year". The order books are full. Kontron's development into a pure IoT provider is "a complete success".

The 2023 II share buyback program announced at the end of September is also running with weekly updates - which pleases shareholders 😁

In the meantime, 1,764,268 shares have already been bought back since the beginning of October. And more are being bought back every week - according to the program, up to 4 million shares are to be repurchased🚀

Who here is also invested in SDax companies?

@Wellenreiter got back in a week ago after it stopped me out at the end of November😀
profile image
@TomTurboInvest That's why I haven't used stops since 2019😅
profile image
@Wellenreiter I try to use them consistently 😅
Would have saved me from a lot of damage😅
I entered Kontron at 19.16 and was then stopped out at just under 22, but deliberately set the stop very tight due to market news.
Now I've managed to get back in at 20. But of course it doesn't always work out so well.
Entered at 20.46, am curious about the development

I got in this morning.
Stop loss is set and now I am curious to see how things will continue. The statements from the CEO are of course good, but let's see what the quarterly figures reveal. Do you know when they will be published?

@TomTurboInvest the dividend cut has not gone down so well...
profile image
@He-Man apparently not 🙄
profile image
@TomTurboInvest Are you holding or have you already sold?
I have set a stop and then let's see if it is torn.

@He-Man I am still holding, I am speculating that the dividend cut will be digested quickly. The outlook is OK, my view of Kontron has not really changed.

There are rumors of further acquisitions at Kontron.
I've had it on my watch for some time.
But I haven't had any good experiences with the Alpine republic.

@Tenbagger2024 forget Palfinger and besides, a tenbagger also has to take risks, not every purchase can be a success 😉
You can take it 😅

The share is struggling a bit again, although the current figures look good. The market reaction doesn't quite make sense to me... hmmm

@Vuu Well, the market didn't like the dividend cut plus the slightly missed profit margin. Stay calm and be patient, the outlook is good...
My position is already full, otherwise I would even buy some more.
