•@All-in-or-nothing You are absolutely right. I must have had South Korea in mind. But I always ask myself why this high-tech country is still listed in the Emerging Markets Index and is therefore considered an emerging market? I'll have to look at the criteria again.
And I've already found the reason:
"However, the lack of an offshore foreign exchange market and a ban on short selling for all listed stocks until March 2025, among other factors, are obstacles. Therefore, South Korea is classified as an emerging market rather than a developed market due to market accessibility issues."
