Since it's a mystery to me how anyone can drink Pepsi, I opted for Coca-Cola. In principle, I think it would have been smartest to split the position between Pepsi and Coca-Cola.
I decided on Coca Cola at the time and have been on the savings plan for years. I really like the product portfolio at Coke, plus I use it myself. Coke is also a childhood brand for me and a solid investment.
Pepsi... Have been involved with both for a while and Pepsi has actually always performed better. Additionally, Pepsi is also in the food/snack business. Correct me if I'm wrong but Coke I think is only active in the beverage market
So from the drink 100% Coca-Cola junkie. That's why I first invested in Coke. But after I was once pointed out to me to look at PepsiCo and Pepsi has run better in terms of performance, I then also bought a Pepsi position and now run both in the savings plan.
