Bond Invest Update 17
As already announced, anyone who is interested can follow my investment in bonds.
So now it's finally starting to rain. The first interest payment from Italy has arrived. 135€ gross, 118,12€ net minus withholding tax. Unfortunately I cannot insert this transaction here.
A rainbow is already forming on the horizon. The tide will rise.
I was surprised by the withholding tax. I had researched it beforehand and saw that interest payments from Italy would be tax-free. What was actually meant was that the withholding tax is reclaimable, i.e. not even creditable. Note to self: Never again Italian government bonds.
The interest will be reinvested with the next savings plan execution of the European bond ETF.
