•@Felix_1988 Fanuc is 4.😅 https://de.statista.com/statistik/daten/studie/283520/umfrage/wichtigste-hersteller-von-industrierobotern-nach-umsatz/ And as for Hitachi, I deliberately prefer Komatsu because of the mining excavator business.

•@Der_Dividenden_Monteur In the statistics, the total sales of the "Industrial Automation" division were used. However, the majority is generated here with PLCs, CNC controllers, servo motors, inverters and low-voltage technology. The actual turnover with robots is approx. 410 million euros https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/sites/news/2023/pdf/0529-a3.pdf For Fanuc it was approx. 2.255 billion euros turnover in the robot segment Robots (2022) https://www.fanuc.co.jp/en/ir/announce/pdf/2023/reference202303_e.pdf
••
@Felix_1988 but then why is Mitsubishi in first place in whatever statistic on robotic?😅 I prefer to look at the IR reports first, they are clearer for me than the prepared presentations 👍
••
@Der_Dividenden_Monteur it seems that many statistics are based on entire company divisions and not just pure industrial robot sales. 1st place FANUC. No one else has such a large portfolio of models and such a large manufacturing capacity with up to 8000 machines per month) 2nd place KUKA 3rd place ABB Then the rest: Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Nachi, HD Hyundai.... Universal Robots ( $TER )

•@Felix_1988 not without reason, are simply the best robots. Only the availability is sometimes modest, but this is probably due to the transport rather than the production capacity.
••
@KleinviehmachtMist the availability problems could be due to the prioritization of the car manufacturers' customers 😅 Mechanically, the machines are good but the software is stone age. ABB is clearly better in this respect.
••
@Felix_1988 Stone age is enough for us - only cycle time is important. Smaller sizes with the same loads also make them more flexible. Our ABBs are more like the gentle giants. The only thing that gets on my nerves is all the touch stuff that I can do with the key combinations on the Fanuc.
