Fortunately, there is no lobbying in Germany. I would be really surprised if the 'side income' of politicians would influence the decisions. That would be almost corruption, but something like that would be exposed in the 'independent' ÖRR media, for whose independence I and all other citizens pay.

@Vic1 Everyone can find out how much each subsidy is (for example, directly in the documents of the Bundestag). (For example, directly in the documents of the Bundestag.) And the information that there are not only subsidies, is between the lines. Such things are uncovered again and again, but also quickly forgotten. As soon as the European Football Championship / World Cup is then, then everything else is faded out.

@Staatsmann I sometimes find it frightening how easily some politicians admit to corruption in public. A few months later, no one gives a damn. That's why journalists often publish such stories before elections.

@Vic1 And even then, hardly anyone is interested, unless it's against "hate parties" that are being bashed on principle. 🙃
