US inflation data showed price increases in line with analyst estimates. This has taken pressure off high-growth stocks, predominantly tech stocks, which have seen negative blows due to inflation and subsequent fears of interest rate hikes. So-called core CPI fell short of estimates at 6.5%. Megacap growth and tech stocks, such as Tesla $TSLA and Apple $AAPL have been given respite.
