I have two points:
1. can the MSCI ACWI USD be compared with the FTSE All-World? Both only include large and mid caps. Which of these two is more recommendable?
2. isn't a 70/30 portfolio of MSCI World and Emerging Markets more or less the same as an All World ETF?
PS: I am still a beginner and would appreciate constructive answers.

To your questions:
To 1: yes in the end the two are quite similar and only marginally different.
Regarding 2: Yes and no. On the one hand, you are covering quite similar areas to the FTSE All World. On the other hand, the weighting of emerging markets in 70/30 is significantly higher than in the All World.
