The Toniebox is really bad for the high price. And the Tonies are also far too expensive. The thing has now been reverse-engineered and you can "jailbreak" it to make it halfway usable. Nevertheless, I would never buy this box again. I don't know the company well, but if the Toniebox is to be the only mainstay, things will look bleak at some point. The hype will eventually be over and there will be better alternatives.

Since De-SPAC, I have been buying smaller amounts and am currently still holding the share.

I go along with the high price for the boxes. But that's only because $TNIE employs a sprawling legal team across almost the entire globe due to the many licenses they have to pay to various brands. They must have imagined the world to be a much simpler place.

What's more, the Tonie figures are largely bought because of the popularity of the characters, and Bibi Blocksberg, Raven Sock and Paw Patrol cost a lot of license fees.

I actually saw a little bit of AI potential in the share, namely if the exciting stories were generated or narrated/voiced by AI instead of licensing the spoken audio books for the box from publishers at a high price. However, this business opportunity has so far been completely ignored.
