Interesting text and well written - thanks for that. Unfortunately, all three are not worth buying for me. Except for Broadcom, but I've had them in my portfolio since March 23 and they are currently a bit overpriced for me.

@KevinC Thank you!

Not worth buying based on the rating or in general?

That the shares are all expensive is definitely the case! That's why I'm personally a big fan of savings plans. Simply save monthly and as long as none of them develops into a Bayer, you will profit in the long term.

@Mister_ultra I would probably only buy Hermés if they were very cheap (I am reluctant to pay the French withholding tax). The situation is similar with Canadian equities, but with a P/E ratio >100 I don't think they are cheaply valued despite their growth.

I bought Broadcom at a P/E ratio of around 22. I also see long-term potential there. But there are cheaper stocks for me right now.
Similarly Microsoft. I bought it last time at 220(€). Personally, I think it ran a bit too hot and I'm using the phase for less popular areas.

@KevinC Understandable reasons, especially the withholding tax issue is really very annoying. In the case of Hermes and Constellation Software, however, I don't see it as a problem, as both have a very low dividend yield anyway. If at some point you end up with large dividend amounts, you can possibly switch to other providers (e.g. maxblue for Canada). Within the EU, this should perhaps no longer be a problem with withholding tax from 2027 anyway (even if I still have my doubts about this).

I agree with you about Broadcom, but in my opinion that's the beauty of a savings plan. You simply buy regularly and therefore the current price is not so important to me. You have to start at some point :)
