Vonovia ($VNA (-2.86%)) - The real estate group intends to use a capital increase of 8 billion euros to finance and finally complete its takeover of Deutsche Wohnen ($DWNI (+0.09%)) and finally complete it. In addition to the capital increase, the real estate company is selling 15,000 apartments in Berlin to the public sector for around €2.46 billion.

Inflation - The German Bundesbank believes it is possible that inflation will rise to as high as 6% by the end of November. In October, the percentage rate of inflation was 4.6%. This would bring the market capitalization to over $9 trillion.
