Different TER (costs) for ETFs

Recently there was an interesting article here by @DonkeyInvestor. It was about restructuring his ETF portfolio. Specifically, about saving in alternative, new ETFs with lower management fees (TER). I made a note of that.

During my research, I noticed that prices are shown differently on different platforms. For example, various articles state that UBS has lowered its ETF prices everywhere.

The UBS ETF MSCI World UCITS ETF (USD) A-acc for example, is said to have annual costs of 0.10 % according to Onvista. In Trade Republic, however, the ETF is displayed with costs of 0.29%.

Does anyone know why this might be? Different markets? These are actually global products.

I am currently saving:

$XDWD (+1.06%) (TER 0.19%) -> Xtrackers

$IEMA (+0.33%) (TER 0.18%) -> iShars

$IPRV (+1.69%) (TER 0.75%) -> iShares

$XDEQ (+0.98%) (TER 0.25%) -> Xtrackers

$XDEV (+0.9%) (TER 0.25%) -> Xtrackers

Of course, there are not alternatives from other issuers for each of these products. $IPRV (+1.69%) is comparatively expensive, for example, but rather rare as a product.

Would be grateful for tips, on the one hand why a) the cost display is so different and b) which alternatives are cheaper.

And am I c) that if I decide to invest in new, cheaper ETFs, it is better to keep the old ones in my portfolio instead of switching them and (immediately) paying tax?

C) depends on how much tax would be due on the sale. Are you in the red or can you cover it with your Friday (which you don't use for anything else)? Then reallocate. Otherwise leave it in the custody account

The TER is the same everywhere with the same ISIN. It cannot be different from broker to broker. In case of doubt, the information provided by the brokers is simply incorrect. If in doubt, always check the ETF provider's website directly.

a) The ISIN / WKN should be the same everywhere. If necessary, use different portals or ask support - that's what they are there for :-)

b) World ETF you can look for something like Prime Global, FTSE Developed and MSCI.

c) I would leave the old ETFs (if there are higher profits) and save in the new ones. After all, the TER of 0.19% to 0.15 or 0.12 is not much different. That's a few € a year.

a) Are ISINs congruent? Should have the same TER.

b) justetf.com helps with the search

c) I can't help you as a Swiss citizen, sorry. Would also prefer an advisor for taxes instead of a forum.
