Thanks to @Hannes_SK who showed me the opportunities of small caps through his contributions.

You always learn something new on the stock market or through the community.

$DRO (+1.74%) was a chance find in December, as I was looking for a counterweight to $HAG (+0.79%) and the market for anti-drone technology is very limited.

As a div-growth investor, I am not used to such price gains 🥹

You hold the above shares in your direct custody account. We have some information for you today: DroneShield Limited is offering to buy more shares in the company at a fixed price.

We have summarized the most important details of the offer for you here:

DroneShield Limited
AU0000DRO2 / A2DMAA
0.8 Australian dollar
until 06.05.2024; 22:00 hrs

DroneShield Limited specifies that you can only subscribe for the new shares in blocks of certain equivalents. These equivalents are: 2,000 Australian Dollars (AUD), 10,000 AUD, 15,000 AUD, 20,000 AUD, 25,000 AUD or 30,000 AUD. The allocation can be made pro rata.

If you accept the offer, we will need to disclose various details to DroneShield Limited: Your name, your address, your holding on the Record Date (17.04.2024) and the number of shares you wish to receive. With your instruction you agree to this.

If you accept the offer, an order commission will be charged for the subscription. We will debit the money from your custody account in euros. As the payment was originally made in a different currency, it will be converted before being credited. We charge a discount of 0.25% on the exchange rate provided to us. We cannot tell you whether additional foreign fees and taxes are incurred - we have no information on this.

I also see potential and wanted to take advantage of it. Especially if you can still get them at a discount (however that might work...between 22-26.4. shareholders can buy at a discount...).

Somehow that means we don't have to wait until the resumption, because then the prices would be "more expensive"...
I just don't know whether the additional shares (70 million) that will be put on the market will be more of an indicator of a fall in value...

I'm curious if Scalable will ping me or how else I can do this...

I'll have to take it back. After reading it several times, everyone who wants to take part in the last course will probably get this discount. Shareholders probably don't have an extra price.
Let's see, the next few days we'll probably be smarter and understand more ;-)

But you should probably keep an eye on it from April 22 before it goes public on April 26/29...

No. I have to thank you for saving my goldfish from drowning. 🫶🏻
...out of interest...a lot has happened overnight ;-) suspended from trading, possibility to buy more, ...

Any idea how to proceed? If speculation anyway, will you buy more now because the price is interesting and you assume that the SPP and the current deals will probably increase the value?
The market situation doesn't look bad...
But I've never had a case like this before and can't tell whether this is a sign of an increase or whether the new shares are more likely to depress the price...

...I also have no idea how this works technically - does my broker (Scalable) then write to me and offer me the shares at a reduced price?

Yes, but more by chance. I'm actually in the process of switching my portfolio from individual stocks to ETFs... Droneshield was more of a chance find this week. The development looked good and the business model sounded attractive to me. But in the end I only got in yesterday, so I missed out on all the growth so far, I waited too long ;-)
This morning I had to check what was going on when nothing changed... and while searching found the post here 👍
