Beyond Meat: A smart investment in an impending bird flu pandemic?

Imagine a bird flu pandemic breaks out. Millions of chickens and possibly cows have to be killed to stop the spread. Meat production collapses and the government is under pressure to find replacement solutions quickly. This is where Beyond Meat comes in.

Why Beyond Meat?

Rising demand: Given the health risks, consumers may increasingly turn to plant-based meat alternatives. Beyond Meat could benefit from this surge in demand.

Government intervention: In a crisis, governments could support plant-based alternatives to secure food supplies. Beyond Meat would be well positioned to fill this gap. 🏛️

Climate hysteria as an additional driver: In times of "climate change" and the associated "climate hysteria", such a pandemic could be used by political actors to promote the consumption of meat alternatives and get people used to substitute products for the "future".

What do you think, could Beyond Meat be a wise investment in such a crisis?

Apart from that:
Beyond Meat tastes the best to me compared to the other products in the range. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Regardless of whether it tastes good or is really healthier, I always ask myself the question: Are they making money with it? And it doesn't look like they are at the moment. It could change, of course. But they don't really have a moat either. And the chart is hell.
For me, it's not an investment.

Sorry but bullshit.

Beyond Meat has had declining sales in recent years

This has resulted in the company continuing to record negative EBITDA and cash burn.

I see Beyond Meat as a "sell" due to the lack of intrinsic value. However, I also see highly processed food as fundamentally unhealthy and therefore I would never invest

This is beyond BS. Why would govt push " plant based" meat when simple plant produce will be available from aldi to edeka irrespective of a meat pandemic ?

Not to mention the " woke" rise in demand which is just a fad. If your tounge is lusting for meat taste then you would never become a vegetarian and if you love vegetarian food, you never feel the need to have meat in first place. It's delicious in its own right.

I had that thought too. Bill Gates is pumping money into it. In the case of Biontech, he magically knew beforehand that they would take off....
