@InvestmentPapa in fact, he had the banks create products specifically for him. so he's boiling with water that was made especially for him. it was an exception, but it's worth mentioning that very large investors have an advantage, especially when it comes to financing companies in distress. also, I hardly think any of the "big ones" would have a problem buying or selling at GME just because a handful of brokers decide to do so. so overall it's all pretty much the same, but they do have advantages in the nuances.
