I always wonder how people coped 40 years ago, often not even knowing how high the dividend was and when it would be paid out...

•@Johann_van_der_Smut What good is a comparison with 40 years ago? There were only pure rip-offs on the part of the banks without neobrokers or internet and and and

@BockaufDividenden You're missing my point... 🤷♂️
To say the least, I find it exaggerated that many feel cheated and deceived when the €15.80 dividend comes 3 days later. The brokers afaik have one week. And even if it's two - so what?

@Johann_van_der_Smut But you're absolutely right.

@Johann_van_der_Smut That's not the point at all. Anyone who boasts about paying them quickly should of course follow through. I'm already waiting for two more dividends and the last $MAIN came later again.
At some point there will also come a point when I will be able to understand this, as these have so far been booked on the day of payment.

@hejjay Where does TR boast about paying dividends quickly and how long have you been waiting for the two dividends?

@Johann_van_der_Smut see the large number of interviews after the recent problems. There they emphasized that they would process instructions and dividends in real time and almost no other bank in Europe would offer that. But then I expect that too.

@hejjay do you think that the Nvidia Div is booked in the same second or hour for e.g. 150000 customers? I have no idea about bank IT, but I could imagine that the payment of dividends is checked several times before it is posted. So we are inevitably a long way from real time. But ok, anything that takes over a week is too long. How long are you waiting now?
