@Watzeklicker Why does everyone act as if Gerd had set up an actively managed fund? The ETF simply tracks an index for which there are clear rules. Instead of a 1-factor model, a multi-factor approach was chosen here. Which Gerdyboy has also repeatedly described in his books. I myself have built a multi-factor portfolio and it gets very small very quickly. (You have to be up for it) I think it's good that there is finally a product where you have everything in one. Conclusion: The Kommer ETF is passive, it only tracks more than one factor. You can want that or not.

@userd1ae984c293941e4 Well, you can do that too. You practically trade actively and create your own index. Then you call it passive, because you only follow this index. Dr. Andreas Beck recently gave a great explanation somewhere as to why this ETF is fundamentally not passive. But I don't care whether you call this construct active or passive. You seem to be somehow bothered by it. What counts in the end is success.
