Retail stocks - which stock is your favorite? 🛒

After yesterday's quarterly figures from Walmart $WMT (+0.07%) the share is up +7%. This has given me reason to talk about the sector.

These stocks did particularly well last year. Here is a little insight into the 1Year Performance⬇️:

🇺🇸

Walmart $WMT (+0.07%) +37%

Costco Wholesale $COST (+0.18%) +55%

🇨🇦

Alimentation Couche Tard $ATD (+0.02%) +20%

🇳🇱

Ahold Delhaize $AD (+0.23%) also manages the turnaround 📈

I have Ahold Delhaize and Walmart in my portfolio, but speculate on adding Alimentation Couche-Tard.

Which retail stocks do you have in your portfolio?

How do you rate the sector?

currently only $AD but considering whether $WMT would still be an option in the second portfolio

Only $KR, thought they were undervalued below 40€ at the time, now fairly valued. I think their management is good, they are trying to improve their margins, are doing strong share buybacks with a rather low payout ratio and I find the upcoming acquisition of Albertsons by Kroger interesting.

The strongest player in my opinion is and remains Costco.

$KR $TGT Both have great management and a very shareholder friendly strategy with buybacks, dividend increases and are always looking to improve their margins.
Both Costco and Walmart seem overvalued to me.
