In its first full financial year after going into operation, BER Airport once again made a large loss, as expected. Almost 570 million euros was the deficit last year, according to the annual report presented by airport CEO Aletta von Massenbach with Supervisory Board Chairman Jรถrg Simon in Berlin on Tuesday. This means that the loss has almost halved compared to the previous year. However, von Massenbach stressed that this was "only reassuring to a limited extent".

Citi admits that a trader error entering a transaction triggered a "flash crash" that sent Swedish stocks down 8% and European stocks down. Sweden's benchmark OMX 30 index plunged 7.9% in morning trading Monday before quickly recovering to shock investors.

Goldman Sachs Group Inc.'s first credit facility backed by bitcoin is the latest attempt by crypto exchange Coinbase Global Inc. to move money from Wall Street into the digital asset space. "Coinbase's collaboration with Goldman is a first step toward recognizing cryptocurrencies as collateral, deepening the bridge between the fiat and crypto economies," Brett Tejpaul, head of Coinbase Institutional, said in an emailed response. Coinbase did not disclose further details about the loan. A Goldman Sachs spokeswoman said last week that the loan was secured by bitcoin owned by the previously unnamed borrower.
