I gambled a bit back then and took small profits. But I only gambled because I think the company is interesting in the long term. I wanted to get in at around € 0.70, but have now entered at € 0.59, where the hype has now somewhat passed and am now leaving the position as a long-term investment.

DroneShield shares rose significantly on the Sydney stock exchange on Tuesday night. Is the hoped-for recovery rally now starting?

Summarized for you
DroneShield shares rise by 8% after profit-taking.
Support at AUD 1.00, resistance at AUD 1.40.
Caution required: MACD still showing negative trend.

In my opinion: I realized my loss and got out.

I'm still €925 in the red. So I'll wait and see. Quarterly figures in 2 weeks.

@lars7861 Where did you get the information that the Q3 figures will be published in two weeks? The Q2 figures were only published last month.

@lars7861 Thanks for the information. I don't think what it says is true. Droneshield has brought forward the publication of the Q2 results:

Marketscreener also has the wrong date: https://de.marketscreener.com/kurs/aktie/DRONESHIELD-LIMITED-27547983/termine/

@SpinXO Thank you. But I will still hope that the share will rise again. Losses are simply still too high. Even if it takes another year.

So the 2nd half of the year still holds some promise.

@lars7861 I am also confident in the long term and have re-entered the market. With stocks like these, it is always advisable to work with stop prices so that potential losses are limited or you can take at least some of the profits. I usually take 20% below the purchase price and tighten it from time to time when things go up.

@AlterMann I'll buy again at 20 cents

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur I don't understand why it is pushed over and over again by some fake account....20 cent sounds good

@Seebi not necessarily... It could also simply be those who speculatively form their own opinion. You don't always have to be right, but it has nothing to do with "hoping for a miracle"...

@Seebi I agree that it is highly speculative. None of us knows whether and how it will develop in 12, 36 or 60 months. But "speculating" is simply not "hoping for a miracle". All of us who still hold shares will have our reasons. Of course, everyone should also regularly review a position - losses have to be realized at some point. The question remains, for example, whether you believe in the company, but even if you realize a loss, wouldn't it be better to invest your remaining money elsewhere... everyone has to decide for themselves... 🤷‍♂️

@Seebi I agree, even though I bought some at around 80 ct...

@Seebi i bought at 50 ct. i think the market for drone defense is going to be huge. drones are the weapons of the future. we need antidotes. wait and see.
