$NOKIA (-0.11%) Nokia Oyj (HLSE:NOKIA) announces a share buyback program. Under the program, the company will buy back up to 150,000,000 shares, i.e. 3% of the share capital, for EUR 900 million. The aim of the program is to reduce Nokia's capital in order to offset the dilution by issuing additional shares.
The repurchased shares will be canceled. The buybacks will be financed from the company's funds in the invested free equity reserve and will reduce the company's total free equity. The program is valid until 31 December 2025.
