Well, even if I might make myself a little unpopular with some people here... - I (partially) sold about 2/3 of my share portfolio this morning.

Last week, including today, I was down about 10%. Not so dramatic at first. But the experiences in the Corona crash and the year 2022 tell me that it could well fall another 10-20%...

Of course, the markets recovered and returned to the profit zone. But this time I'm happy to take a few of them with me and wait with good cash until the whole thing calms down a bit... - then all positions will be topped up again.

You're only smarter in hindsight, you could be right about that, besides, it's your money so everyone has to know for themselves :)

@Elyani...right, I don't know👍 and mine 🔮 is also quite cloudy😉

Well, by the same logic, you could have gone €5,000 short

@Twizzi would have needed eggs

@Twizzi...rather no, because I can't really estimate where it's going at the moment. I'll have a look first ...

@calvinhayward...well, that may be - but sometimes common sense is better than the fattest eggs.

@Invest-Fuzzi I expect a prompt counter-reaction and will continue to add to my holdings if prices fall ✌️

@BamBamInvest Yes, the backlash will set in. The only question is when. I may be wrong, but I think it will still slide a little.
When it stabilizes and a trend reversal is clearly visible, we will invest again...👍

@Invest-Fuzzi In this case, buy the dip worked well, even though I was only able to buy 2-3 % higher due to broker problems 😂

Clear opinion. You have to feel comfortable with your decisions, not us. 👍

So a classic panic sale that you will regret😉

@Kronos_ Why so hateful? Can you see into the future?

You assume that the world is coming to an end? Something like Corona was a real exception. We were dealing with a pandemic of the century. The world could really have ended then, but now? No war, no major events.

@Beeftek No, I'm just assuming a correction. The world is probably not coming to an end... 😃

@Cype Well, what I'm saying is that the bigger the slump, the bigger the impact on the global economy must be. Something like Corona could also have destroyed the economy.
There are even differences between a big fat bomb and a nuclear bomb or a Tsar bomb. For investors, corona was like the fattest nuclear bomb they have ever seen.

Even if both are big, you also have to differentiate.

If a fat meteor hits the earth and wipes out 90% of humanity, it will cause the stock market to plummet by 99%. But it still makes a difference compared to now
NOW I would be annoyed ✌️

@stocker_482 Nope, why? I've regrouped a bit, have already partially re-entered and still have some cash to add.
@Invest-Fuzzi well because it's now about 10% more, but it's all cool. 👍

@Cype Yes, I agree... 👍
I've actually kept my negative positions, as I can now buy more cheaply.
It seems to be stabilizing at the moment, but I'll wait a few days anyway...

@Benchmarc Well, at some point you'll also squeeze out the 26.x%, unless you take it all with you to the grave...
Yes, of course there will be new ATHs. That's why I can still take a few profits and maybe pick up a few shares a little more cheaply...
