Embraer invests up to 70 million dollars in commercial aircraft facilities in Texas.
Embraer ( NYSE: ERJ ) announced that it is expanding and investing in its maintenance, repair and overhaul services network in the U.S. to support its growing E-Jets fleet with the opening of a new Embraer-owned service center at Perot Field Alliance Airport in Fort Worth, Texas.
The investment will total up to $70 million and is expected to create approximately 250 new aviation jobs in Texas.
In partnership with the City of Fort Worth, Denton County and the State of Texas, Embraer plans to begin operations in an existing hangar early in the second quarter of 2025 and simultaneously build a second hangar scheduled for completion by 2027.
