Are asked from time to time also personal things. Not everyone who follows me here, follows me on Instagram or knows my blog. So I do that now at getquin once separately.
My name is Martin and I am 39 years young. Married and 2 children (10 and 15 years , are not my own but I love them as if they were).
I have been in the stock market since 2008. What I do professionally and how I came to the stock market, I like to describe once.
I don't have any special education. I have 10 classes, then a voluntary year and 2 completed professions in the field of EletkroTechnik (the 2nd apprenticeship then greatly shortened). Then I have 2004-2006 the master attached. 2006 I am then unfortunately seriously ill. I developed a hereditary lung disease. Then I had a lot of time and since I am such a math freak, I came to poker through several books and internet communities. There I played together with the current CFO of bitPanda and analyzed games. I could live 2006-2008 very well from it and played at the end a very high limit. Online but also in the well-known casinos of the world.
2008 I was then temporarily Healthy (Is unfortunately not curable, but is inactive and could remain so forever), and I wanted to do something else again. So I looked for work in my job again (but could be very picky here, because I had capital) and wanted to lead a normal and down-to-earth life again. The situation changed me completely. Suddenly I was much more down-to-earth and wanted to have a family and so on. That's why I put an end to the lottery life and went back to everyday life.
Capital was invested in 2008 on the stock exchange and I also found a job. The invested money was then in the middle of the crisis, which at the time, unfortunately, had not yet reached the zenith, but went down another 40%. I was not prepared for this and had some sleepless nights. I also did not diversify much at that time. SAP, Apple, Amazon and Microsoft were my largest positions. But I decided to simply hold and do nothing more. Unfortunately, there was no more capital to shoot. At the end of 2010 I was then again break even and from then on it went of course with my companies, strongly sold on. I have always made partial sales and my portfolio is always broader.
So I made the same mistakes back then. From 2010 until today, I was then very active on the stock market. Then in 2019, as I got more and more involved with Instagram, I decided to share it with others as well. Since my wife did not want to share our finances with everyone, I opened the MVzK portfolio in 2019 and also use it for content. I run this quasi extra next to my private portfolio.
Today I work in the purchasing level of one of the largest e-outfitters for ships in Germany and manage a department there. Together with my team, I buy parts that are installed in ships all over the world. I have personally been on some of them.
Since 2019, I have also been self-employed with "Mit Verstand zum Kapital". Since 2020, I also invest in cryptocurrencies. This sector I had until then, completely left out. Then in October 2021, NFTs have been added. Privately, I also invest in real estate, commodities and valuables.
I hope you could make a little insight about me. As you can see, I have no education about finances, but I just decided to try it myself. And believe me, back in 2008, the possibilities were not as versatile as they are today. I have struggled through it myself and since then I have experienced several crises.
My goal is to retire at 50 and just take care of my own projects. To do this, I invest a certain amount of money every month and reinvest the dividends I receive.
How old are you and how long have you been in the stock market?
If you have any questions for me, feel free to ask in the comments and for the algo, I also like to take Likes :D
