Hello everybody,

just sharing my thoughts. I've been living in Germany for a decade now, but there's a saying from my home country that often keeps me up at night, urging me to strive for more:

"We come into this world without pants and leave it without them."

This saying signifies a lack of financial planning and education that should ideally be passed down from elders to the younger generation.

When a community is used to just getting by without thinking about leaving something valuable for the next generations, like assets or homes, each new generation starts from the beginning. The idea that working hard to acquire possessions and benefits in life will somehow lighten the load for the younger generation as the older one ages is a common belief. Surprisingly, this approach doesn't work.

Living without proper financial planning results in increased stress. Every ordinary life occurrence becomes a challenge that affects your outlook on tomorrow. This, in turn, leads to significant health issues and, ultimately, a greater need for care from relatives in old age, hindering their productivity.

The moral of the story:

If you find yourself, like me, starting from ground zero in life, know that you can change it. Begin slowly, and you'll discover increased confidence as you navigate life, knowing that you have the power to redefine the starting point for future generations in your family.

Peace to you all.
