yes - you'll have to see when the merger takes place. Until then, unfortunately, the company will no longer issue new shares and will not take them back once the announcement has been made.

Thanks for your answer 🙏 But the merger already took place on July 7, so it's done, so to speak. And now 2 months later it's still not tradable which scares me a bit as there's already a lot of money in there...😜🙈

@lampe699 hmm then it is probably because the new ETF or the new ISIN is not yet traded on the stock exchange (L&S) of TR. Which ETF has it been merged into or which ETF has it included and under which ISIN will it be listed in future?
This usually takes a while until it is listed again on a stock exchange. It may help to ask L&S whether and when the ETF can be expected to be traded. Better with TR, of course, but we know the support there and their speed.

Exactly the support at TR😜, scary, of course I tried there first. 😱
"As you can see from the market information, the investment fund Amundi Russell 1000 Growth UCITS ETF - SICAV Multi Units France (ISIN FR0011119171 - selling fund) will merge with Amundi Russell 1000 Growth UCITS ETF - ICAV Amundi ETF (ISIN IE0005E8B9S4 - receiving fund) with effect from 09.07.2024 or at a later date."
Then I'll have to be patient a little longer.
....thank you 🙋🏻♂️

@lampe699 ah ok. So your "old" ETF was liquidated and converted/merged into the "new" ETF and you now have shares of the new ETF IE0005E8B9S4 in your custody account ... There are now 2 possibilities as to why this could be the case.
1. the IE0005E8B9S4 is not yet traded on L&S and can therefore not be saved or sold at TR (I don't assume that)
but rather from
2. IE0005E8B9S4 has not yet been added to TR's list of ETFs. Only TR can tell you whether this will happen. An alternative would be a transfer to a broker where you can trade the ETF.

@Lukas_Hawks
Response from L&S: "We regret to inform you that trading in the ETF you have requested is currently not possible via our platform due to technical restrictions resulting from the recent merger.
We regret the inconvenience this has caused you. Unfortunately, we could not foresee or influence this circumstance.
In order to continue to pursue your investment goals, we recommend that you speak to your broker about possible alternatives such as a custody account transfer. We will be happy to answer any further questions you may have."
With kind regards
Your L&S team
