I have only made losses with emerging markets in recent years. Which is why I have now moved away from the All World, sold emerging markets etfs and am investing in the core msci World

@Viking-invest So you sold what went badly and was cheap. And bought what went well and was expensive.

How long do the emerging markets have to outperform the MSCI World before you buy them again? 😅

@PowerWordChill because I don't see any increase in the emerging markets. But I do in the msci World. Even if the msci World is more expensive, the return there is already better after a very short time than holding emerging markets etfs for years.
And yes, I buy what simply performs better and brings more returns. Is that logical?

@Viking-invest That's logical from your point of view... but your perspective may not be entirely correct.
You think you are buying what brings more return.
What you are actually doing is buying what has brought more return.
Performacne chasing has been a rather poor strategy in the past.

You drive forwards but look in the rear-view mirror... 😉
