Yes, what can I say: sometimes there are not only positive successes on the stock market.

I put a stop-loss on ASML at the EK this morning, why? I don't know, maybe Fomo, maybe because I simply wasn't so happy with ASML's performance. Did I make a loss? No, not really. Did I make a profit? No. Am I annoyed? Maybe. Sometimes you win on the stock market, sometimes you lose.

I am convinced of ASML in the long term, but at the moment I see no need to hold ASML in my portfolio.

Instead of ASML $NOVO B (-17.74%) was allowed to flow into my US-heavy portfolio with 20 shares.

I would never have sold them.

It has been clearly communicated that 2024 will serve as a transition year. The order books are full. I hope you don't regret it!

That's exactly why I'm not setting a fixed SL, but waiting for the closing price. The share is already €10 higher again

I had also sold them when they hadn't fallen quite so much. So I still made a good profit after the 4 years.
But with all the export restrictions and the general overheating of the sector, I don't see any great opportunities for the next 3 years.

In the long term, I also think it's a good investment.
But at the moment I can't wait that long. So I have to find something else. My investment horizon is currently only 3-5 years.

Very good, my equity has been sitting here for several years. So no return, I'll sell the place soon. Customs and taxes don't make the company any better in Europe.

I wouldn't have done it either, 2025/2026 in particular will be exciting ✌️
