Hello friends,

My parents were kind enough to take out a pension insurance policy for me about 11 years ago, paying €50 a month. I took a look at it today. There are around 6200€ there. If you do the math, it would have been around €6600 since I started saving. In any case, a significant loss due to fees to the driver. I'm thinking about canceling the insurance. The payout is also 6200€. I would then put this into my $CSPX (+0.32%) which I already save with 10% of my monthly income. I might wait until the beginning of the year to take a few percent with a dip, but then do it as planned. What do you think? 6200€ would be a lot of money for me at the moment and a big step in my portfolio :)

Sure, why not. With Trump, US stocks will probably perform best in the next 4 years

Cancel pension insurance immediately and make a one-off payment into the S&P500 ETF. And don't wait and hope that we'll be 5% lower again at the beginning of next year. You are in education and probably want to invest the money for old age, it won't matter in 40 years whether you bought it for 600 or 580! 😊

In any case, get out of the toxic stuff first! Then you can take your time to think about what to do with the money. But even $XEON brings better returns.

I've made a few comparisons over the last few days. Have a look at the fund. Unfortunately, you can only do this on the Onvista comparison portal, as you are comparing a fund and an ETF. I have invested in LU0096426845 UniDynamicFonds: Global -net- A.

Good morning,
As you yourself write, "about 11 years ago". At that time, it wasn't so easy to trade or invest in the stock market as a private individual and anyone who didn't know anything about it was told to keep their hands off the devil's stuff, as you could only lose.

They preferred to go to their trusted bank advisor and let them do it. He got his commission and you got a fund with 1.2 - 2.4% p.a. fees.

Unfortunately, that's how it was for me 😅 I can only agree with my colleagues here. Cancel the thing and invest it yourself via a neobroker you trust
