Hey guys,

today times a stupid question or at least for most a stupid question.😅

What exactly is going on with $MMM (+1.37%) going on?🤔

I can't find any real reason why the stock is falling like this. What has been going so wrong with this company for years that it's just red?

I can only find reasons like sales losses and employee layoffs, but that can't be the only reason why it's crashing like this. And all the analysts etc. are betting on selling🤔.

Does anyone know more?🤔

P/E ratio: approx. 10👍🏻

Dividend king increases its dividend for 65 years💸

Sales down slightly but still bearable in my eyes

So what is the reason that the company is declared dead everywhere and continues to crash like this?📉

@Kapital_Koala yes I have just found nothing so I ask hier👍🏻

@Kapital_Koala johnson johnson too, or bayer . nevertheless, prices remain stable
profile image
@Silkroad yes and why does it collapse here and not at $JNJ for example?🤔
profile image
@GetRichorTryin I replied to koala who claimed it was because of lawsuits

there are no stupid questions only stupid answers ;)

Hey Brudis and Brates 😂 If you get into such a high-risk stock, that would be speculating rather than investing. And here at Getquin, we all want to be investors. Therefore I would wait until the lawsuits are over and we know more. Even if this probably means that some returns are lost.

@Tobi60 Such an answer I wanted thanks that explains einiges👍🏻

@Tobi60 there are also billion dollar lawsuits against johnson for baby powder. Nevertheless, the share price remains stable. Lawsuits are no reason
profile image
@Silkroad they are already off the table

profile image
@Silkroad that was stopped for a payment in the billions over several years.

@Tobi60 Johnson & Johnson (JNJ.N) said Thursday it has agreed to retain all talc-related liabilities from litigation in the United States and Canada, and will "indemnify" the newly formed consumer health unit Kenvue for all costs. .

you're both just talking half-knowledge. One thing is certain, 3M is a multinational and diversified group and a lawsuit against a product does not knock 3M off its feet. They are used to that and provisions are made accordingly. I have now placed my last tranche and am holding for the long term. Until the share becomes bullish again, it can of course take 2-3 years or longer, but that's ok for me. The important thing is that the products are bought by customers and the business model is in tact. :) Regarding the banking crisis and the general macroeconomic situation, it is difficult to say what will happen now, otherwise everyone would already get out of the real assets. So discuss relaxed but does not make a professor economics and pretend as if you know what is now coming to us.

@sNadi or in the event of a currency crash, go 100% into real assets ;)
profile image
@sNadi You speak from my heart. 3M is a top company. Long-term in the savings plan. The lawsuits will be over at some point, then things will start to look up again 🫶🏼

5.64 dividend yield? If they cut it to 3, it's still good. still a great company.

@BearStearnsCFO well, I'm not so sure. The figures speak as I said actually super P/E ratio, etc. but the whole charges, etc. can also go in the pants🤔 and the dividend is not guaranteed can also be suspended or lowered at any time and if that happens it is probably only really down because many probably still hold on to the share because of the dividend.

@BearStearnsCFO yes but brudi this is a completely different situation than in 2008. first, one bank after the other is going bust like in 2008 and second, they are being pilloried because of the lawsuits.

@BearStearnsCFO Billion-dollar lawsuits can break anyone's neck or at least the dividend

@BearStearnsCFO By 2023, more banks have already gone bust than in all of 2008. There's more to come.

@BearStearnsCFO We are only at the beginning. The credit crunch has not yet reached the real economy. The US government is more unstable, interest rates are higher - the cocktail is mixed.

@BearStearnsCFO You don't know all my portfolios 😉 It's not about guesses, but about hard leading indicators, histories and probabilities.
