Smartborker Plus - that's it!

After 7 weeks and 2 days, the time has finally come today: Smartbroker Plus has completed the custody account transfer and I have just transferred the last euros from my old trading account to my current account. This means that Smartbroker Plus has now come to an end for me.


There is more to a reliable brokerage service than just programming an app that communicates more or less well or poorly with the trading system of a white-label bank. Errors simply occurred too frequently, even when they were corrected. Bookings and settlements visible in the app were often only backed up with receipts with a delay of one calendar day. A booking in the low double-digit euro range to my disadvantage will probably remain a mystery forever.


It is probably a symptom of our times when neo-brokers think it is enough to have an app that looks colorful and loud. An accessible and competently equipped customer service that takes care of problems is probably not part of the business model. Quality of service and practical aspects - such as the provision of documents in a filing system - are simply not to be expected.


My conclusion: I won't be using Neobroker any time soon. I have moved my securities account back to my old broker. My financial affairs are too important to me to be a guinea pig for beta offers from junior programmers.

Unfortunately you're so right, support doesn't respond, AI is a pain in the ass, everything takes forever and you're just kept waiting. I will also be moving and can probably expect to wait forever. I've been with smartbroker right from the start, but what they're currently offering is simply no longer possible!
