@Fnatic At times, such themed bets should perform better, otherwise nobody would buy them. But even if you look at the current YTD, it has already performed worse, although you might think that the hype addressed in the name is still relevant.
And future/long-term performance is difficult to predict when ETFs/indices have such idiosyncratic criteria.
In addition, such ETFs are almost always very top-heavy. If I am convinced of a certain business model (or whatever such an ETF is supposed to represent), I would rather buy a few suitable shares individually than pay a higher TER for such an allocation and unpredictable future rebalancing.
