Hello everyone, 👋

as a thank you for my activities at @getquin I may continue the Advent calendar competition as a third.

You can win a finance book and a small merch package (from Getquin)! 📖

Since I have to do professionally with precious metals and inform you regularly on this topic, answer your questions on this topic, there is today of course topic-specific question for the participation in this sweepstakes.

Otherwise, you will continue to find on my profile various posts about my invested companies, but also posts about very mundane things like everyday life and life.

To participate in the sweepstakes, simply answer the following question:

Is jewelry (and thus precious metals) for you an investment object or gifts? 📈 🎁 💍

Conditions of participation:

Eligible are all getquin users who comment under this post until 11.12.2022 at 23:59.

Participation with multiple accounts is prohibited.

The winner will be selected at random by the getquin team.

The winner's address will be required to send the prize.

The legal process is excluded.

In the best case both 😅

In my case also rather both. I love, for example, watches and the craftsmanship behind them, but also the money that I "park" with it or invest halfway intelligently ;)

Jewelry. The value investment is the smile of female society.

Servus, in any case both! The appearance of the jewelry may vllt after decades no longer please everyone, but the metal value remains😬

One of the most beautiful gifts I think, got a gold coin from my grandpa 13 years ago and am still happy about it today!

Jewelry is for me to wear, so rather gift to others or myself, I can not buy a watch and then leave it in a safe. Precious metals are clearly an investment. Bought me in South Africa a few Krugerrand coins, as buying coins was easier than changing Rand to Euro... and I own a few silver coins, where @Simpson had given me the idea 😊

Jewelry, which ideally can be sold in the distant future (😉) at least without loss of value if not liked.

Both :-)

In any case, both. Seeing the joy in the eyes of others is something special and unique 🎁😁

I have nothing left for either, neither on my neck nor in the depot

For me it is both, jewelry and from January 2023 (savings plan) also gold (ETC) 😀
Thanks for that @InvestmentPapa 👍

Thanks for the competition, have a nice 3rd Advent 🙏🏻
Gold is rather nothing for my depot, but as a gift it's often nice :)

Actually both, but more of a gift

To be honest, I don't know enough about jewelry as an investment.
I prefer precious metals as investment objects or jewelry to make the person receiving the gift happy 😇

In any case, both 🙂

Jewelry is definitely a good investment, as long as you don't pay too much for the "brand".
Watches in particular not only have an emotional value, but are also extremely stable in value (if you know your way around).
So I would say that jewelry is a great investment, but can also be a nice gift.
Good luck to everyone and have a great 3rd Advent!

More like a gift. But some things have turned out to be a good investment afterwards 😅

Both, but I don't dare to wear expensive gifts myself (for example, gold earrings from my parents). I'm far too afraid of losing them :-)

I prefer both as a gift and as an investment

Family tradition for the birth of new generations. 👌

Neither at my age😅
As a gift, it can quickly become "too expensive" for my circumstances and as an investment it is too low-risk for me personally. I will certainly look into the subject more later.

Precious metal is a great asset class for me, as I am fascinated by the use of precious metals as a family inheritance and the long historical use up to the present day.

I have nothing to do with jewelry as an investment, as I have no specialist knowledge about it and am not interested in it. I also find jewelry too much a "matter of taste" to see jewelry as an equivalent substitute for precious metals.

So if both jewelry and precious metals are broken down purely in terms of value and investment, precious metals clearly have the edge. Both in terms of storability and the high stability of value, neither of which is as pronounced with jewelry.

In my case rather jewelry 😬

Personally, I would rather invest in precious metals as a material in bar form. As a raw material for the electrical industry, etc. Jewelry only if I really like it, otherwise as a gift. Although it depends more on how much I like it than on the price of the material.

Jewelry is worth its weight in gold 🏅and of course also an investment in a way. With this in mind, happy Advent.

For me, it's both.

Actually, both.
But more often a gift, because it makes you happier when you make someone happy.
