Am just still undecided what to make of it. A part-time jobber, a (unnecessarily) large TV box. All the children are fully equipped with the latest smartphones and game consoles, and the box filled with tobacco can't be missing either. Criticism of unnecessary consumption is allowed if I can't afford it anyway? But I appreciate the fact that they are putting a lot of personal effort aside for the sake of their children, and that they are working after all. Society is definitely struggling with the question of whether work in general is still worthwhile in Germany compared to the citizen's income.

@Hannes_SK Our society kit is consumption. I am not surprised.

@NiMe There are certainly things for which one can have understanding, as long as money is tight. An excessive standard of living is certainly not one of them. Unfortunately, I then also gave myself the extreme example and can only say from my circle of friends in the age group that this is the strong majority: https://youtu.be/qHkqHMsqtFE

@Hannes_SK yes, there are those more extreme examples in addition to some good and very good earners. Fortunately, I don't personally know anyone who wants to live like that.
