Finally some better news from the FinTech scene. In recent months, FinTech startups have had some difficulties in raising new capital. Basically, the mood after the bank run of the $SIVBQ and the bankruptcy of $CSGN was not very good. Now Robinhood has delivered really good quarterly figures.
Robinhood's revenue improved significantly from $318.0 million to $486 million. Thus, the company was able to beat analysts' expectations. Nevertheless, the $HOOD (+3.38%) share fell today by about -7%.
What is your current view on FinTech stocks? Are they a possible investment for you or rather not?
I hope that the market environment for FinTech startups and companies will improve in the near future! Because I noticed a few weeks ago that the startup Vitamin, which I had been following for a while, didn't get any follow-on funding and is now bankrupt. Vitamin was an educational app that informed women about various financial investments and advocated for a financial future for women.
