The core of my ETF portfolio is currently represented by the following ETFs:

60% equities, of which

50% $XDWD (-0.23%)

30% $EMSRI (-0.35%)

20% $WSML (-0.18%)

40% Bonds, of which

50% $SRIC (-0.01%)

50% $XGLE (+0.15%)

I basically feel very comfortable with the constellation, as I am very broadly positioned and can still reduce volatility.

What do you think of this allocation? What suggestions do you have?

Very good that someone also has bonds in the portfolio. I weight the equity part similarly to you - but have it mapped over 7 etfs - but I'm also a little nerd who spends several hours a day on the subject of investment. With the bonds you have all maturities in there - I differentiate again between short term as cash substitute and long term as interest speculation. As further assets you can also add real estate, precious metals and crypto. Many greetings 🖖

There's not much to complain about with the core. At most, it is questionable whether this is really your core investment. According to the portfolio overview, it accounts for just 1/4 of your invested capital. The majority is in sector betting ETFs and individual stocks (most with weightings below 1%). I don't know how much capital you have invested in total, but I would guess that these small positions can hardly bring any excess returns due to the high transaction costs. And even if they do, they hardly affect your portfolio - so I would reduce heavily here and put more into the core.

A broadly diversified equity ETF, what with government and corporate bonds, at least 20 percent gold and 20 percent real estate so that all classes are represented. And then just leave it. The rest is a gimmick
