•@randomdude I took another look. There is no clear reason or share that caused the performance.
It was all in the 4th quarter of 2016, right around the time Donald Trump was elected for the first time. My portfolio returned around 12% from October to December, probably due to his "America First" campaign, which he was then able to implement as president.
In addition, I sold Apple and Netflix at a profit in Q4, which I had only bought a few months earlier - unfortunately sold, today both would be worth many times more.
