Opinion/thoughts/opinion about Veganz Group $VEZ (+5.62%) ?

Today I listened to the OMR podcast of the founder and CEO Jan Bredack of Veganz and feel the change of the company as quite exciting.

My connection to Veganz:

I think in the long run, vegan/vegetarian diets make sense for our society. Resource saving, climate friendly to climate neutral, sustainable etc....

Therefore, in January of this year, I took positions with $BYND (-1.23%) and $VEZ (+5.62%) built up. With Beyond Meat I made slight profits, with Veganz slight losses. Because of continued war, food shortages and macro sentiment (interest rates, etc.) I have reduced the positions, was too uncertain for me. Sold Veganz at 12.75€, today it would have more than doubled. Unfortunately, I have not had the company since then on the screen and also not observed....

Now, however, my interest is rekindled and I will research in the next few days.

Most recently, a capital increase was announced, which could put pressure on the stock and indicate soggy coffers...The founder would probably argue that investments were made in the latest hot shit (patents/factories/products).

Long preface, lots of rambling, you realize I need some more info/research until I see a clear scenario for me.

Do you eat vegan yourself? I have done this for 1 year and what I have eaten the least, is products of any vegan stalls. The wrong thought is often that nen vegan replaces all animal products with a vegan product. Most do not make, is also honestly too expensive. One reaches halt rather to rice, potatoes, soy, Humus etc.. Accordingly, such stalls are not an investment for me. Then perhaps rather $DE or $ADM

$9ZX1 I find there rather more interesting. I live vegan myself and have since never bought a product from Veganz, no idea but the company does everything but nothing right and as @CooleSarah said, most vegans hardly buy substitute products as well as the vegan range in the supermarket/discounter is now also strongly represented with private labels.

Thank you for your opinions. I myself live vegetarian for about 6years and am open to different meat alternatives. I can also imagine living vegan at some point, but I don't conclude from me to society. My point is also not that the vegan replaces everything from butter to schnitzel at Veganz, but that the acceptance and thus the sales at Veganz increases.

Some interesting things are already happening: https://ir.veganz.de/unternehmens-nachrichten/ It seems like the stock is recovering, but I'm also afraid that it will suddenly crash again. I had picked up an annual report date from the website for this week, but it seems to have been postponed. I have not found anything on VeGreat LLC from the joint venture. The joint venture in itself I find very interesting. It was one of my first shares, because I find especially the idea of vegan supermarkets great, but unfortunately there was backsliding, so that there is only one in Berlin. The products themselves I find too sweetkramlastig, but especially the printed plant milk I find very interesting / innovative: https://ir.veganz.de/news/veganz-group-ag-startet-innovative-2d-druck-produktion-der-milchalternative-mililk/402a8936-8dd8-4f8c-affb-2a6bfc614109/
