I find it exciting for a buy (perspective buy and hold 3-5 years). But I already have some overweight in tech stocks in my portfolio. What do you think?

At 3-5 years to speak of long-term and buy and hold I find very questionable

Tech is already so broad. it's almost like shooting movies or baller games. ASML builds machines for the semiconductor industry. Netflix buys movies/series or produces them themselves and sells them in a subscription model Meta engages the public through voyeurism and exhibitionism and markets the attention to the highest bidder. Shopify offers small businesses their own sales platform. all four Tech. All four in completely different industries with four different business models. Why you don't want to overweight in one area is because you don't want to be overly affected by industry specific external circumstances. That makes sense, but with technology, you should split up the industry and look more closely at which tech companies are really similar and therefore shouldn't be overweighted overall for that purpose.
