In 2001, a subscriber bought 240 Amazon shares for €2.46 (back-calculated due to stock split) for a total of €590. Today, after 23 years, Amazon stands at 162€ and his position is worth 38,900€ with +6,500% (screenshots of the portfolio are available). Amazon was considered unprofitable and overpriced for many years, but it still held up.
It was similar for me with AMD 2011, which is also my first stock that I have held for 13 years and is now worth +8,000%. A detailed article on this will follow.
Which stock have you held the longest? How long and with what performance?
