@Xeophon sounds 1:1 like the investment strategy of käthe pressspan

My FOMOs were all shit, they all had something about buy high and sell low... Or at least heavy pockets ...
My cryptos are all FOMO ("price target 100000 for BTC" - more FOMO is no longer possible 🙈 )
I also had some FOMO corpses in the tech sector
I am now much better off buying on significant setbacks ... even if there are admittedly a lot of stocks that I missed out on ....
(Tesla was one of my first stocks in the comdirect sample portfolio three years ago - I recently threw it out, the shame was just too great)
But you still have to be able to wait! There aren't that many Teslas, there are many more Ynvisible , H2 and so on ... )

@GymTonic sounds reasonable. I would differentiate between FOMO because the price is rising sharply and FOMO because the fundamentals are changing!

@Timomonochrom Basically true...
But in view of the fact that almost all shares are currently valued at too high a P/E ratio, it is also very dangerous: what is regarded as "normal" today because of all the money in circulation could be perversely high again tomorrow ...
It's not for nothing that I currently have the highest cash ratio since I've been on the stock market 🤷🏼♂️
