Hello folks,

I have been wanting to buy a stock in the transportation sector for a long time.

But I am currently unsure between these 3 stocks.

$DPW (-1.71%)
$ODFL (+3.53%) and $DSV (-0.56%)

I find Deutsche Post interesting at the moment because they are a bit cheaper and have a reasonable dividend of 4.46%.

My investment goal is of course for a long time.

I would be very happy to hear your opinions. :)

I would opt for Deutsche Post. I've also been thinking about getting into that for some time.

keep in mind that every single company is currently focused on making their supply chains resilient (less global, more local).

So, what's your underlying investment hypothesis besides the discount and div yield ?

+ longterm is not an objective, but a strategy.

I advise you the classics: $DPW $KNIN $FDX $CNR $UPS

Deutsche Post has unfortunately recently fallen out of the upward trend, so I have sold it for the time being, but will also get back in at around 40 euros 💪🏻

$ODFL is by far the strongest stock in my opinion, compared to the rest of the companies it does not have a light asset strategy, but is the owner of almost all the properties and the whole fleet. Nonetheless sold today at 388€, run way too hot for me.
