Update: I have removed the link again. Thanks to everyone for all the positive feedback...

Ok, decided to share my portfolio for 24 hours. Worked as an employee with management experience in the pharmaceutical industry until recently.

I have been a private investor for about 3 years and have been investing with the "Stuttgarter Aktienbrief" (boerse-aktuell.de) for about 10 years.

This means that I have built up my wealth with perseverance and stamina, bloody noses included.

Best regards

@Gerit thank you....could be a bit boring as I won't be changing much. LG

@Harley63 perfekt 👌

If I make a rough estimate, you invested 9k per month. Would you like to say something (approximately) about your income at that time?

Not bad. Nice depot

@Lumimyrsky thanks, it's been a long way...

Very nice, 7 digits must be an amazing feeling :)

I expect a letter to shareholders to fish out the undiscovered gems and not the top 10 of the MSCI World.

Congratulations on your success. Enjoy it. You don't need a letter to shareholders for 90% of your stocks. An MSCI World could hardly have done worse. My opinion. The well-informed investor should also have these stocks in his portfolio.

Congratulations on the depot! That's something to look up to, it's motivating 😊

Draw a line at the value and still get by, but you're already over 60. Respect.

Solid portfolio. Wishing you continued good returns

Very interesting portfolio, such a high proportion of stocks from the healthcare sector is also relatively rare 👍🏼

I'm always happy when someone who has actively worked on it has done it again. Chapeau!

You can be a privateer with that amount? I'm doing something wrong 😭
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor There is no right or wrong... The key experience for me was the "Stuttgarter Aktienbrief". Since I started investing with them, things have been going uphill. All the best for you
2
profile image
@Harley63 Why some of the mini positions? Why no bonds, gold, real estate? Why ETFs but individual stocks with a higher weighting? What exactly has changed for you with the Stuttgarter Brief?
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor What do you mean? If you have the sum but CANNOT be a private individual, you are actually doing something very wrong 😳
profile image
@Soprano I need about three times that amount to retire.
1
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor why why...because they all don't pay dividends, for example...
Everything else has grown historically...
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor What are your fixed costs? Maybe cancel your Rolex subscription 😜
1
profile image
@Harley63 What's the point of portfolio feedback if you don't get any questions answered or a bit of background information?
3
profile image
@Soprano The rent alone costs 24k a year for 3 rooms, which is actually too little.
profile image
@DonkeyInvestor 2k monthly rent? My dear Scholli, sounds like a big city. You pay around €800 for 3 rooms here and that's still in Germany. If moving is out of the question, you're obviously in a bad position to achieve financial independence in the near future.
profile image
@Soprano great, you can share and have passed the 3rd grade 😁.

I hope that my salary is correspondingly higher and that I can save more 😅.

I can certainly imagine moving at some point. But not in areas where you can get a 3-room apartment for 800 😜

Two questions:
1. what is the annualized return with the letter? More than the S&P500?
2. what do you do as a private investor? Anything meaningful?
profile image
@Epi 1) I have not calculated; however, I was able to significantly improve my deposits
2) of course: Head of Grandchildren and a lot of motorcycling ;)...in that order
3
profile image
@Epi you can register and read a 14-day trial. It's always on display at my dentist's, Brandmaier is oldskool with a suit, bow tie and paper leaflets. In my opinion, it's for older people who don't know Google...

https://www.boerse-aktuell.de/
2
profile image
@Pezi as I said, I'm a long-term customer...don't underestimate the old ones; and yes, they can also use Google and also use OpenAI ;)
profile image
@Harley63 to 1) If I'm seeing things correctly, you've saved approx. 740k for 10 years and the deposit has approx. 1100k. First of all, congratulations on this savings achievement!

However, this performance speaks less for the stock market letter. It has brought you +50%, S&P500 ETF has +180% in the same time, so you would have almost doubled! Gave away 1 million?

2) Have fun with your grandchildren. Enjoy the time, it will be over sooner than you think! And what do you plan to do then? Just ride a motorcycle? I'm not asking in a bad way, I'm asking because I want to be financially free myself and I'm wondering what I can do with the time I've gained. The few years here on earth should be spent wisely. 👍

@Harley63 if you're 63, you're only slightly older than me 😏

Every issue of the Stuttgarter Aktienbrief is the same. Every day is buy day, etc.

It recommends many good stocks, but also misses many opportunities (e.g. Apple).
1
profile image
@Pezi Exactly, really boring, isn't it? It took me a long time to understand and practice this...
And yet I still have an Nvidia in my depot 😉
profile image
@Harley63 Nvidia? If only Brandmaier knew... 😂

I once wrote to them 2 or 3 years ago jokingly asking why they didn't sweep out and recommend other interesting stocks. These included Hershey, ASML, S&P Global, Ansys, etc. Then an employee called me and said that my stock suggestions weren't that great.... and that I should become a client so that I would have the opportunity for better performance. The guys are now recommending half of my suggestions...

Anyone who is a bit interested in shares and can use Google doesn't need the subscription...

@Epi 2) I believe that many people do not have the feeling that they are doing something "meaningful" in their professional lives either.

remarkable how you have achieved it - i only see stocks - hardly any bonds or annuities, how do you stabilize your portfolio? relatively little taxes paid, how does that work? or is the display not correct? Which bank/broker do you use? Since when have you integrated the data into getquin? everything manually? Looking forward to hearing from you
Question about taxes: You made a profit of €258k on the sale, but the taxes are only €1500(?). Do you not declare them or do you live abroad?
Otherwise, very nice portfolio, you're looking forward to your free time 😃

How long has your Msci World been running?
How long have you been holding Amazon and Google in case of an obvious recession. Would you just hold on or realize profits:)
profile image
@Petzi-Port Hi, everything over 15 years...don't sell anything as I plan for the long term. I sit out such phases...like in 2008 or this year
profile image
@Harley63 Have you also bought more often or were these one-off purchases?

It's amazing, I've rarely seen anyone hold an ETF for several years now
profile image
@Petzi-Port I kept buying more from Amazon and Google, MSCI was a one-time investment
1
profile image
I took a quick look at your portfolio... there's a lot of pharma missing, e.g. Novo Nordisc or Eli Lilly
You're still young, so a lot can come together in 25 - 30 years. Think about it
1
profile image
@Harley63 thanks for the feedback, I'm toying with the idea of reallocating some assets anyway, would actually like to shift Amazon, Alphabet, Apple into the FTSE and let that run when the time is right.

Omv is a trade for which I sold novo nordisk.

Had a small Novo position, sold it before the correction.

Elli Lilly or Novo will definitely be back in the portfolio, the only question is when
1
profile image
@Petzi-Port have you ever considered buying a health etf?
profile image
@Petzi-Port not really, I now have 4 ETFs in my portfolio, there is a lot of "health" included

@mto not exclusively, get a small pension plus the dividends so that works out so far; but about 50% less than the last salary...still the time is worth more to me, if you know what I mean

@userc4da8e69b9bc41bc Thank you, Bitcoin is not sold, but down from the exchange to a ledger because it is more secure ;). The portfolio is the result of years of tuning. I would always focus on the healthcare sector and tech. This is certainly also related to my professional career. Best regards
