also wants more EM but 0.40 TER already expensive. why didn't you choose the ESG variant and do you know how much he made p.a.?
••
@cashwithhead EM are always a bit more expensive, and factor ETFs too, anything under 0.5 is justifiable.
What kind of ESG ETF do you mean, such as the HSBC MSCI Emerging Markets Value ESG UCITS ETF $H41E
It seems to be newly launched (32 million small) and didn't exist when I started building up my position 😉

•@PowerWordChill Well, you can still switch to the ESG variant. More technology, slightly better governance and minimally less China
••
@cashwithhead @cashwithhead I have to say that I'm a bit suspicious of ESG, I don't want to reduce my investment universe recently, especially as I'm not sure whether I can achieve anything positive with it.
I prefer to live more consciously, only use public transport, eat vegan, travel less and try to buy things of a higher quality as much as possible and use them for longer. I'm doing the planet and society a favor and saving money at the same time. 😘

@PowerWordChill Do you also help old grannies cross the road?
••
@PowerWordChill I don't care about the planet but use ESG as a filter to increase technology and to get out governance companies like Pinduodu or whatever it's called
••
@Olli68 If they can make it to the road on their own, then experience shows that they can also make it over it on their own.
••
@cashwithhead I don't really want to increase technology... but the governance issue is interesting.
Unfortunately, I haven't looked into it enough yet... I think the data on this is also poor because the topic is quite new. 😅

@PowerWordChill ESG is a super complex system. In principle, it's just a point system for a whole host of properties that ultimately results in a score. The provider then decides what to do with the score. In principle, there is agreement on the subject, but there are also often differences. For example, on the question of whether defense is social, which has now been changed by many providers after the war start
