I am also from Austria but I would not invest in the ATX 😅 which companies do you think are worth buying?

@Claudia_Theresa Wienerberger AG is quite interesting. Quarterly figures at the beginning of this month with significant sales and profit plus.

@Claudia_Theresa For me there are some exciting ones like OMV, Wienerberger, Mayr-Melnhof but also outside the ATX, Frequentis, S&T or Fabasoft. These are all profitable companies with strong products and services and a focus on the future. S&T, for example, has always exceeded its forecasts in recent years. Frequentis is the global market leader in its segment with full order books. In the last 30 years, the ATX TR has performed at an average of 7.36% p.a., while the DAX was ahead at 8.08%, but you would expect something like that from the DAX 😉 - Austria also belongs in every portfolio, it is not for nothing that mainly foreign investors invest in our companies.

@Claudia_Theresa but you're right, I wouldn't invest in an ETF on the ATX either, despite the return, I'd rather go for stock picking.

@Wellenreiter @OEINVEST true, there are certainly a few interesting companies in the ATX, but other ETFs are more interesting for me :)

@Claudia_Theresa is perfectly fine 😉👌🏻 As I said, I wouldn't invest in the ATX ETF, but in individual stocks. Unfortunately, since I couldn't link the "index", I had to switch to an ETF 😁
