Greetings to the round,

I published my portfolio the other day and I mentioned that I am thinking about changing my dividend ETF. I have little experience with dividend strategy and wanted to ask which dividend ETFs are recommended.

(I don't see this as a buy recommendation) I trade through Trade Republic).

Current ETF: $WQDS (-0.13%)

Have looked at the $VHYL (-0.46%) and find it quite good.

Opinions about it? Love greetings.

Added after the fact:

Am also not sure obs fits into my strategy at all. Would like to make the depot actually for retirement. Of course, all my ETFs are accumulating. I have built in the budget because I still have left and can at least distribute a little.

You want to swap a world ESG for a pure dividend etf? I don't think that's a good idea, rather take the etf $VWCE 👍

May I ask how much time you have before you need your retirement plan? What do you want the dividends to do? Only to exhaust the tax-free allowance or do you really want to live on the dividends in 5 or 10 years? Accumulators will soon also use the tax-free allowance due to the advance lump sum. From a deposit value of about 80k, it would be fully exhausted. Otherwise there is an article at @DonkeyInvestor why HighDividend-ETFs do not make so much sense in young years and at my site there is an article to look at dividends soberly. There are many ifs and buts, ultimately you have to throw all the information into a bowl and decide for yourself. But we can serve with info ;)

$VHYL pays a higher dividend, but the share price has not really changed in years. Look at $VWRL, which constantly increases the dividend + growth. Add it to the portfolio and all other stocks are superfluous.
