An absolutely boring utility that supplies New York with district heating. At the same time, it is the largest district heating network in the entire USA.

The company was founded back in 1823 and is a flawless dividend aristocrat. The payment has been increased uninterruptedly for 47 years.

The current dividend yield is just under 4.3%, and the market capitalization is $21.5 billion.

You can't expect huge price jumps with utilities, but they are a stabilizing factor for the portfolio, since good money is made in just about every market phase.

In all probability, the company will soon join the illustrious circle of dividend kings.

I had a look at it, but I think the debt was too high, even for such a conservative industry...

I don't think it's good that they have a 100% payout ratio and also do a capital increase every year.
