Another exaggerated sell-off?

$WBA (-0.25%) falls after the company adjusts its earnings forecast again📉📉📉

In my opinion completely panicked sell-off -19% ,let's see if it goes even lower later....

What do you think?

Do you have $WBA (-0.25%) in your portfolio?

You always sell off excessively. The share has only known one direction since 2015 and that is south.

@Krush82 Exaggerated sell-off since 2015. 🤷

I bought a small position last month and set up a savings plan.
Simply a bet for a turnaround or as a takeover candidate.
The figures are generally correct, the debt is being reduced and the dividend has been lowered.

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur the figures are correct? How do you determine that?
I wouldn't describe a drastically slashed profit forecast as "the figures are generally correct". That should ring all the alarm bells, and it's been going on for several years. Could it be wishful thinking or a case of soft talk?

@Dividenden-Sammler eps from 2.95 to 2.80 is drastic in your opinion?
Sales have increased in the last 4 quarters, which is positive for me.
As I said, turnaround bet or takeover candidate.

I don't need to talk myself out of investments, I've been in the game for a while.

@Der_Dividenden_Monteur So I'm reading something different. Namely lowered from 3.20-3.50USD to 2.80-2.95USD. Or am I reading something wrong?

it's crazy what's going on
but all you ever hear is garbage stock scum etc.
I don't know if the share will come back at some point... what do you think?
How safe is the dividend?
Eps also looks bad.

So I would only get in as soon as the signs are good. I'll put it on the watchlist for now

Edit: Ok div was cut this year.
So no rosy prospects at the moment ... the downward trend remains intact. Is currently just a bet on the turnaround.

Have you ever been to a Walgreens? For me it's a junk store. Although the valuation should be fair by now.
profile image
@GordonGekko83 I can agree with that as far as the stores are concerned.

@GordonGekko83 I was in California last year and visited many Walgreens and CVS stores and found both ugly, but I found the Walgreens stores a bit better than CVS.
Then I did a survey of people I know who live there and asked them if Walgreens or CVS?
and they all said Walgreens without exception...
profile image
@DivInvestor really! I don't even want to know what a CVS load looks like😱

@GordonGekko83 the CVS store on Hollywood Boulevard reminded me of a Späti at Frankfurt's main station... a bit run down... and half the shelves were empty.

in the depot and a pile of garbage i never want to deal with this again

A clear downward trend for 7 years. Wouldn't know why to buy them. I'm glad I threw them out again in 2019 after a short holding period.

@Sele-95 With CVS Health, Walgreens almost has a kind of duopoly on pharmacies (stores) in the USA. Although, of course, there is now also online competition and smaller competitors.
